(November 1, 2013: Springfield, VA) The T.C. Williams Titans Varsity football team scored 14 points and held off the Spartans to 10 in a dramatic last minute come back on Friday.
The Spartans Offensive line dominated on several long drives but penalties in the end seemed to slow Spartan progress to the end zone. The Spartan’s Defense had a good game controlling some of the athletic Titan players.
Coming up next, the Spartans play the Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) on Friday, November 8. West Springfield will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 2-7 record after their 28-7 win over Lee (Springfield, VA).
